I really enjoyed learning about and creating my wiki on compound words. Although it was definitely time consuming, the positive effects of wikis on classroom instruction are well worth the time and effort spent on creating one. Currently, I don’t think I can properly utilize wikis in my SEIT sessions; however, I will definitely try to incorporate it in to my practicum sessions with my first grade student. I will use it as a content delivery tool to enhance my lessons and to get my student engaged in the learning process. I like how students can express their understanding of a topic in different ways, other than contributing to a class discussion.
